Platničky vymeňte, keď hrúbka obloženia klesne približne na 2 mm alebo po indikačnú drážku. Pred montážou vyčistite strmeň a skontrolujte piesty, nové platničky potrebujú zábeh – prvých pár desiatok kilometrov brzdite citlivo. Pri výmene skontrolujte aj stav brzdového kotúča.
